Billikens Knock Off Dayton for the Second Time in Two Days

MATCH DETAILS
• After falling short in the first frame, Saint Louis rattled off three set victories in a row to knock off Dayton for the second time in two days Saturday afternoon at Chaifetz Pavilion.
• The Billikens improved to 15-11 on the season and 7-7 in Atlantic 10 Conference play, while Dayton moved to 15-12, 9-5.
• For a second straight match, the Billikens were led by rookie Irmak Gokcen and her team-best 15 kills. She also added nine digs and a service ace. On the weekend, Gokcen posted 32 kills, 4.00 per set, and 21 digs, 2.63 per set.
• Dimitra Tziarli registered nine kills and a match-high six blocks.
• Margaret Mahlke and Delaney Rice each recorded eight kills, while Lily Welti and Jillian Mattingly each picked up six.
• Carlie Rodgers led both teams with 27 digs in the contest.
• The Billikens matched a season-high 12 blocks in the match.
