GAME DETAILS
• Brooke Flowers posted her third straight double-double, but Saint Louis fell, 63-41, to George Washington in an Atlantic 10 Conference game Monday afternoon at Charles E. Smith Center in Washington, D.C.
• The Billikens moved to 3-7 in league play and 7-15 overall, while the Colonials improved to 10-14, 3-8.
• SLU's 41 points were the lowest scoring output by the team this season.
• George Washington used a 9-0 run to jump out to a 14-3 lead in the first five minutes of the first quarter and held a 19-8 lead at the end of the period.
• The teams traded the first eight buckets of the second quarter, but the Colonials used four 3-pointers in the frame to pad their lead to 35-18 at the half.
• A Peyton Kennedy trey capped a 7-2 run in the third quarter for the Billikens, bringing the score to 45-28 with 3:25 left in the period. GW led 50-30 at the end of three.
• Kennedy and Julia Martinez both collected 3-pointers in the fourth frame, but GW outscored SLU 13-11 in the frame and came away with the 63-41 victory.
BILLIKEN NOTABLES
• Flowers finished with 14 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks.
• Kennedy tied Flowers for the team high in points with 14. She connected on two 3-pointers and also grabbed five rebounds.
• Martinez recorded a career-best six steals, which was also the most by a Billiken this season. She added six points, five rebounds and three assists in 40 minutes of action.
