• Due to injuries, the Billikens dressed just six active players for the contest. Three played 40 minutes, while two others played over 32.
• SLU ended the game on an 11-1 run to pick up its second home victory in a row.
• The Billikens moved to 4-7 in league play and 8-15 overall, while Saint Joseph's dropped to to 9-15, 5-7.
• McNeal and Kennedy posted five points each in the first quarter, and the Billikens hit three 3-pointers to take a 13-11 lead at the end of one.
• A Kennedy layup capped a 5-0 Billiken run and gave SLU a 23-20 lead with 2:15 remaining in the first half. The Hawks responded with a 5-0 spurt of their own and led 25-23 at the break.
• SJU outscored the Billikens 9-8 in a low scoring third quarter. Two Sarah Lazar free throws and a Julia Martinez layup in the final minute brought the score to 34-31 in favor of the Hawks at the end of the frame.
• Saint Joe's connected on a three-pointer to go up 45-40 with 3:14 remaining in the contest, but it was all Billikens from there. SLU ended the game by scoring 11 of the final 12 points and came away with the home victory.
