GAME NOTES: Saint Louis | La Salle | Atlantic 10
• Saint Louis (8-15, 4-7 A-10) is back on the road Saturday afternoon for an Atlantic 10 Conference contest at La Salle.
• Peyton Kennedy turned in a career-high 19 points, Natalie McNeal added 14 and the Billikens knocked off Saint Joseph's, 51-46, Wednesday night. Due to injuries, SLU dressed just six players for the contest. Three of them played the full 40 minutes.Â
• Prior to SJU, the Billikens were able to dress just seven in the previous two games.
• SLU leads the all-time series 10-7 over La Salle, including victories in six of the last seven encounters.
• Brooke Flowers has picked up double-doubles in four of the last six games. With 10.6 points and 11.4 rebounds per game, Flowers is one of just two players in the A-10 who are averaging a double-double on the season (Sam Breen, Massachusetts).
• Flowers collected her fifth five-block game of the season Wednesday. She is fourth nationally with 3.2 blocks per game this season, while also sitting 13th with an average of 11.4 rebounds.
• Over the last four games, Julia Martinez has averaged 5.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2.5 steals. She tallied a career-high eight assists on Feb. 9 against Dayton and had a career-best six steals Monday at George Washington.
• Kennedy is averaging 16.5 points and 7.0 rebounds over the last two games.
• Kayla Spruill paces the Explorers in both points (15.9) and rebounds (7.4) per game.
• La Salle enters the contest with a 6-6 mark in league play after defeating Davidson at home Wednesday.
