ST. LOUIS – The Saint Louis University Department of Athletics has announced a group of 10 individuals and three teams selected for induction into the Billiken Hall of Fame.
Induction festivities for the Billiken Hall of Fame Class of 2022 will take place in a private ceremony Friday, Feb. 4. The inductees will be recognized at halftime of the Saint Louis-Dayton men's basketball game that tips off at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at Chaifetz Arena.

"While these individuals and teams represent many different sports, they have in common a very high level of achievement as well as the distinction of representing Saint Louis University in a first-class manner in the classroom, in competition, and in our community. We look forward to celebrating an outstanding group of Billikens as they receive this well-deserved honor."

Billiken Great – Contemporary
SLU student-athletes who competed in the past 30 years
Jordair Jett (Men's Basketball, 2010-14) – Jett ranks fourth in assists (422), fourth in steals (174) and 19th in points (1,239) on the Billikens' career lists, numbers achieved while playing in a school-record-tying 134 games. He was the Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Year, earned honorable mention on the Associated Press All-America team, and was tabbed NABC first-team All-District in his senior campaign, helping lead SLU to a second straight A-10 regular-season title and third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. The Billikens also won the A-10 Championship crown in his junior year. Jett is one of only 17 players in A-10 history to make the league's All-Defensive team three times, and he was a third-team All-Conference selection in his junior season prior to his first-team nod as a senior. Following graduation, he played professional basketball for several teams in Australia and New Zealand.
Robert Kristo (Men's Soccer, 2011-14) – Kristo is one of only five 3-time All-Americans in the tradition-rich Billiken men's soccer program, earning first-team plaudits as a senior and third-team honors as a sophomore and junior. He made the All-Region and All-Conference first teams in each of his final three campaigns, and he was the Atlantic 10 Conference Offensive Player of the Year and a Hermann Trophy semifinalist in his senior year. A forward, Kristo is one of only two players in program history to lead SLU in goals all four seasons, and one of only three to top the team's points chart all four years. He ranks 13th in program history with 97 points (41 goals, 15 assists). During Kristo's final three seasons, the Billikens played in two NCAA tournaments and won an A-10 regular-season title and an A-10 tournament crown. He plays professionally for the St. Louis Ambush following stints with Spezia Calcio (Italy's Serie B), VFL Osnabruck (Germany) and the USL's North Carolina FC.
Brianna Lore (Softball, 2013-16) – Lore holds five school career records, including 70 wins, and she ranks among SLU's career top six in four other categories. The only pitcher in program history to toss two no-hitters, she set a Billiken single-season mark of 25 victories and helped lead Saint Louis to Atlantic 10 Conference regular-season and tournament runner-up finishes in 2014. Lore earned A-10 co-Pitcher of the Year plaudits that season, becoming the first Billiken to claim conference Pitcher of the Year recognition. She also was the first Billiken softball player to repeat on the All-Region team (second team in 2014, third team in 2015), and her three All-Conference selections included first-team nods in 2014 and 2016. Lore's off-the-field accomplishments included an A-10 Postgraduate Scholarship and SLU's 2016 Female Senior Student-Athlete Award.
Margo Richardson (Women's Cross Country/Track & Field, 2010-14) – Richardson won Atlantic 10 Conference titles in the indoor mile in 2013 and 2014 and the outdoor 1,500 meters in 2014. She was an A-10 silver medalist in the 1,500 meters in 2012 and 2013 and the mile in 2012, and she collected bronze in the outdoor 5,000 meters in 2013 and the indoor 3,000 meters in 2014. A three-time NCAA Championships first-round participant, Richardson is the only Billiken to qualify in two events twice (1,500 meters and 5,000 meters in 2012 and 2013). She also qualified for the 2011 USATF U20 Outdoor Championships in the 1,500 meters. Richardson owns school records in the mile (4:50.77), 1,500 meters (4:23.54) and 3,000-meter steeplechase (11:05.41). In cross country, she is the only Billiken to garner four All-Conference nods, and she was the 2010 A-10 Rookie of the Year.
Dahmar Smiles (Men's Track & Field, 2009-12) – Smiles is a two-time Atlantic 10 Conference champion in the 110-meter hurdles, winning the title in 2010 and 2011. He also owns four runner-up finishes in A-10 Championships competition, placing second in the 110-meter hurdles in 2012, in the 400-meter hurdles in 2009 and 2010, and indoors in the 55-meter hurdles in 2011. Smiles qualified for NCAA Championships first-round competition three times; he moved on to the NCAA Championships quarterfinal round in 2010 and 2011, making him the only athlete in Billiken track and field history to advance twice. In 2009, he became the only Saint Louis track and field athlete ever to qualify in two events (110-meter hurdles, 400-meter hurdles) at the USATF U20 Outdoor Championships. Smiles holds SLU records in the 110-meter hurdles (14.02) and 60-meter hurdles (8.01).
Trisha Underberg (Women's Soccer, 1996-99) – A member of Saint Louis' first women's soccer team in 1996, Underberg is one of only three players in program history to make four All-Conference teams (first team twice, second team twice). She added first-team All-Region honors as a senior, helping lead the Billikens to their first league title (Conference USA regular season). A midfielder, Underberg finished with 78 points, 28 goals, 22 assists and 176 shots; she is one of only five players in the program's current career top 10 in each of those categories, and she also is among the top 10 in game-winning goals. She is one of only three players to lead the Billikens in points in three different seasons. Underberg was the 1997 C-USA women's soccer Scholar Athlete of the Year and a 1999 CoSIDA Academic All-District first-team honoree.
Mike Vigliarolo II (Baseball, 2012-15) – As a sophomore, Vigliarolo became the first Billiken baseball player to be named Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Year when he turned in career highs in batting average (.341), slugging percentage (.525), home runs (eight), RBI (42) and doubles (19). His 87 hits that year rank second on the Bills' single-season list. He earned another first-team All-Conference selection in 2014 and was a second-team choice in his senior season. Vigliarolo, a first baseman and .324 career hitter, is SLU's career leader in hits (282) and putouts (1,737), and he also ranks among the top five in doubles, total bases, games, RBI and starts. The Billikens won or shared the A-10 regular-season title in each of Vigliarolo's four seasons and reached the 2013 NCAA Championship after claiming the A-10 Championship title.

SLU student-athletes who competed more than 30 years ago
Jane (Johnson) Feltenstein (Field Hockey, 1977-80) – A four-year member of the Saint Louis field hockey team, Johnson was named to the Mitchell & Ness All-America second team in 1979. Her 38 goals and 76 points were tied for second on the Billikens' all-time lists when she finished her career; those totals remain in the top 10, tying for fifth and tying for sixth, respectively, on the current career charts. Johnson's 17 goals and 34 points in her senior campaign are tied for fifth and tied for seventh, respectively, on the Saint Louis single-season lists. The Billikens posted a 77-17-8 (.794) record during her career, including a school-record 28 victories (28-5) in her sophomore season.
Distinguished Alumni Award
Student-athletes during their undergraduate days who have made major contributions to the University's athletics program through personal time, effort and interest and through many years of service, and/or have distinguished themselves as exceptional in their chosen field of endeavor.
Marian "Bo" Mehan (Women's Basketball) – Mehan graduated
magna cum laude from Saint Louis University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and
magna cum laude from the Saint Louis University School of Law. She was a member of the SLU women's basketball team as an undergraduate. Mehan serves as Co-Chair of the Estate Planning and Probate Department at the law firm of Lewis Rice LLC. She was inducted into the SLU LAW Order of the Fleur de Lis Hall of Fame, the highest honor from the Saint Louis University School of Law given to alumni who are leaders in their communities and in their practices. Mehan is committed to serving her community, holding various leadership positions with several St. Louis nonprofit organizations over the years including the Pershing Foundation, Lesley A. Waldheim Foundation and ACCESS Academies. She is also Vice Chair of the Saint Louis University Board of Trustees and has made a significant contribution as a committee member for SLU's "Get HER in the Game" scholarship initiative for Billiken women student-athletes.
Bauman Sportsmanship Award
Individuals, not necessarily former student-athletes or alumni, who have made outstanding contributions to Billiken Athletics through the demonstration of the highest principles of integrity, honesty and fair play without consideration for self-gain.
Bob O'Loughlin – As Chairman and CEO of Lodging Hospitality Management, which he established in 1986, O'Loughlin has been responsible for successfully managing more than 50 hotels for individuals and institutions. His most recent acquisition is the historic St. Louis Union Station and the Curio by Hilton St. Louis Union Station Hotel. Also new to the LHM family are the recently opened Westport Social, The Boundary Restaurant at the Cheshire, Basso Italian Gastro Pub, Starbucks at the Cheshire, The Back Room, The Upstairs at the Cheshire, Homewood Suites Westport, Marriott West, the Crowne Plaza St. Louis Airport Hotel, The Embassy Suites, The St. Louis Aquarium, The Wheel, Soda Fountain, Carousel, Ropes Course and Train Shed. O'Loughlin is a member of several community and business organizations, including the Regional Business Council. He sits on the boards of the Logos School, Washington University, Saint Louis Zoo, St. Louis Sports Commission, St. Louis Police Foundation, Enterprise Bank and Trust, the Jefferson National Park Association, St. Louis Regional Chamber, and Variety the Children's Charity of St Louis, and he is past Governor of the Missouri Athletic Club. O'Loughlin also is a member of the Saint Louis University Board of Trustees and is the lead benefactor of the $20 million O'Loughlin Family Champions Center, a best-in-class facility that will deliver academic advising, spiritual development, sports performance, nutrition, wellness and sports psychology programming to all Billiken student-athletes. It is scheduled for completion in May 2023.

Billiken teams that have brought recognition and prominence to the University and themselves by athletic accomplishment.
1970 Men's Soccer Team – The 1970 Billiken men's soccer team, led by head coach Harry Keough, captured the program's eighth national championship and registered a 14-0-1 record. The Billikens defeated Akron, SIUE, Hartwick and UCLA in the NCAA Tournament. 1973 Men's Soccer Team – Also coached by Harry Keough, the 1973 Billiken men's soccer team claimed a 10th national title for Saint Louis University and finished with a 15-2-3 record. 1989-90 Men's Basketball Team – For a second consecutive season, head coach
Rich Grawer guided Saint Louis to a runner-up finish in the National Invitation Tournament. The Billikens defeated Kent State, Green Bay, DePaul and New Mexico before dropping a two-point decision to Vanderbilt in the championship game. SLU was 21-12 overall (9-5, third place in the Midwestern Collegiate Conference); coupled with the previous season's 27 victories, the Bills had back-to-back 20-win campaigns for the first time in 38 years.
