HOW IT HAPPENED
•Missouri took a 3-0 lead with three runs in the third inning.
•SLU got on the board in the fourth on Newbanks' RBI ground-rule double.
•Missouri plated three more runs in its half of the fourth to go on top 6-1.
•The Billikens drew closer with two tallies in the fifth. The first scored on a throwing error, and Newbanks drew a two-out, bases-loaded walk for the second.
•Missouri added two runs in the fifth and another in the sixth.
