•Cami Newbanks recorded a double, two walks and two RBI to lead Saint Louis in the Billikens' 9-3 loss to No. 25 Missouri Wednesday afternoon at Mizzou Softball Stadium.
•The Billikens are 20-22, while Missouri improved to 29-17.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
•Missouri took a 3-0 lead with three runs in the third inning.
•SLU got on the board in the fourth on Newbanks' RBI ground-rule double.
•Missouri plated three more runs in its half of the fourth to go on top 6-1.
•The Billikens drew closer with two tallies in the fifth. The first scored on a throwing error, and Newbanks drew a two-out, bases-loaded walk for the second.
•Missouri added two runs in the fifth and another in the sixth.
 
BILLIKEN NOTABLES
•Sadie Wise, Allie Herron, Jocelyn Abbott and Natalie Sullivan had a single apiece.
•Kendall Johnson registered her 11th sacrifice bunt of the year, placing herself into a 10th-place tie on SLU's all-time single-season list.
•Taylor Hochman allowed just one run and one hit in two innings of relief.
