Saint Louis dropped Tuesday's midweek contest 10-2 to Southern Indiana, snapping the Billikens' 10 game winning streak.
SLU moved to 10-4 on the season, while the Eagles improved to 7-9.
USI crossed the plate in each of the first four innings, including a two-run second frame, to take a 5-1 lead. A bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the second brought home the lone Billiken run.
The Eagles pushed across four runs in the top of the seventh to extend their lead to 9-1. Cole Smith recorded an RBI double in the bottom of the inning for the Billikens.
USI scored one more in the ninth to win it 10-2.
The Billikens return to the diamond Wednesday for an afternoon battle with South Dakota State.
