THE BASICS
Saint Louis scored in all but one inning and extended its winning streak to four games with a 15-3 non-conference victory over Lindenwood Wednesday afternoon at the Lou Brock Sports Complex.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
•SLU took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning on Abby Mallo's RBI infield single.
•Mallo made it 2-0 in the third with a sacrifice fly.
•Ashley Marietta's fourth-inning RBI single upped the lead to 3-0.
•In the fifth, Jane Kaniecki collected an RBI single for a 4-0 advantage.
•Chloe Rhine clubbed her second home run of the season, a solo shot, in the sixth to put the Billikens in front 5-0.
•Lindenwood plated a run in its half of the sixth.
•Saint Louis erupted for 10 runs in the seventh to put the game away. Grace Kmak collected three RBI on a pair of singles; Mallo recorded her third and fourth RBI on a double and a ground ball; Gabbie Kowalik produced a two-run double; and Kendall Johnson, Taylor Hochman and Allie Marietta drew RBI walks.
 
BILLIKEN NOTABLES
•Kaniecki and Rhine added a double apiece.
•Johnson had two hits.
•Kowalik tacked on a single.
•Chloe Wendling tossed five shutout innings to pick up her ninth win. Wendling struck out four and gave just three hits and one walk.

The Billikens host George Washington in a three-game Atlantic 10 Conference series Saturday and Sunday, March 25-26. Saturday's doubleheader and Sunday's single game begin at noon.
