THE BASICS
Natalie Sullivan and Jocelyn Abbott homered for Saint Louis, but Southern Illinois erupted for eight runs over the last two innings and defeated the Billikens 10-2 Wednesday afternoon at the Billiken Sports Center.
 
Sullivan's home run was her third of the season, while Abbott went deep for the fourth time this year.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
•Sullivan's first-inning home run gave SLU a 1-0 lead.
•Southern Illinois scored twice in the third.
•Abbott's homer in the fifth tied it 2-2.
