Bills Fall at St. Bonaventure, 10-7

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure took game two of an Atlantic 10 Conference baseball series over Saint Louis 10-7 on Friday afternoon. The two teams play again in the rubber match on Saturday.
 
The Billikens (17-11, 4-1 A-10) saw their five-game winning streak come to an end. St. Bonaventure improved to 5-19 and 2-3 in the league with the victory.
 
Ethan Sitzman had a big day at the plate, going 4-for-5 with two doubles, a homer, two runs scored and three RBIs.
 
Tyler Fogarty was 3-of-5 with a double and RBI. Austin Neuweg had a pair of hits, including his second home run of the season.
 
Cole Smith had a hit to extend his team-leading hitting streak to 13 games. Patrick Clohisy and Cam Redding also extended their hitting streaks to seven.
 
The Bonnies scored five runs in the fourth in three more in the sixth to help account for their 10 runs. SBU's top four hitters in its lineup combined for nine of its 15 hits.
 
The first pitch of Saturday's series finale is set for 11 a.m. (CT).
