ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – Powered by a four-hit day by
Patrick Clohisy, Saint Louis posted a 7-5 win over St. Bonaventure Sunday, clinching the Atlantic 10 Conference series win against the Bonnies.
The Billikens improved to 18-11 and 5-1 in Atlantic 10 play. St. Bonaventure fell to 5-20 and 2-4 in the league.
Clohisy, who has hit safely in his last eight games, went 4-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. He now has a team-leading .372 batting average for the year.

Tyler Fogarty and
Knox Preston all registered two hits and an RBI. Smith extended his team-leading hitting streak to 14.
Ethan Bell got the win after striking out five over 2.2 innings.
Ben Cherico pitched a scoreless ninth for the Billikens to earn the save.
The Bonnies led 5-4 heading into the eighth, but SLU rallied for two runs in the eighth and one more in the ninth for the final 7-5 margin. Sitzman and
Cam Redding provided the RBIs in the eighth inning. Clohisy had an insurance RBI single in the ninth.
The Billikens play a midweek nonconference game on Tuesday at Southern Indiana. SLU resumes A-10 play next weekend when it hosts Saint Joseph's (4-1 in the A-10 entering game tomorrow at VCU) at the Billikens Sports Center for a three-game set Friday through Sunday.
