MERION STATION, Pa. – Saint Louis fell 8-0 at No. 13 Saint Joseph's in Atlantic 10 Conference field hockey action Friday afternoon at Ellen Crenshaw Field.
The Bills dip to 1-8 overall and 0-3 in the A-10. The Hawks, ranked No. 13 in this week's NFHCA poll, improves to 9-2 overall and 3-0 in league play.
Saint Joseph's scored three times in the first and second quarters and took a 6-0 advantage into halftime. The Hawks tacked on one more in the third and fourth quarters for the 8-0 margin.
SLU is back in action on Sunday at 2 p.m. (CT) when it faces LIU. The match will take place in Staten Island, N.Y., at Wagner College.
