COLUMBIA, MO. – The Billikens were defeated 59-112 in a tough road test against Missouri on Wednesday at Mizzou Arena.
Saint Louis dips to 2-3 and sets it eyes to the end of this three-game week at home on Saturday.
The Tigers had a commanding start, leading 55-27 at halftime. They continued their efficiency this season from three, shooting 45.8 percent for the game. The Billikens put up a strong fourth quarter, shooting 40 percent from the floor.
Peyton Kennedy led the Billikens with 12 points and continued her perfection from the free-throw line going 7-7.
Marcavia Shavers grabbed a team-best five rebounds and added five points.
Freshamn
Hannah Wallace had her first career start and scored five points with three boards. Another freshman,
Mia Bergstrom had a career-high 11 points.
Saint Louis returns to Chaifetz Arena to face Missouri State on Saturday (Nov. 23) at 1 pm.
