ST. LOUIS – Tierra Simon recorded her third-straight double-double to lead Saint Louis to an 86-69 win over Bellarmine on Saturday.
The Billikens forced 22 turnovers and recorded 20 steals, just three shy of the school record. Kennedy Calhoun and Hannah Wallace each tallied five steals. Saint Louis also controlled the boards, out-rebounding Bellarmine 47-34, while shutting down the Knights' offense and converting turnovers into 31 points.
Simon's double-double included a career-high 17 rebounds and matched her career-high with 16 points. She is the first Billiken to record three consecutive double-doubles since Brook Flowers.
Peyton Kennedy led all scorers with 22 points, while Shun'teria Anumele added 15, Kennedy Calhoun contributed 13, and Brooklyn Gray rounded out the Billikens in double figures with 10.
Saint Louis now turns its attention to Atlantic 10 play, with the conference season beginning on the road at Rhode Island on Dec. 29, with tip-off set for noon CT.
