Billikens Rally to Top St. Thomas

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. – Saint Louis continued its hot offensive start to the season Saturday afternoon with a 15-7 win over St. Thomas (Minn.) at Centennial Parks in Port Charlotte, Fla.

The win pushes the Bills to 3-0 on the season, continuing their best start since 2017. The Tommies, who beat Illinois State for their first win earlier on Saturday, fell to 1-2.

Austin Neuweg led the Bills at the dish, going 3-for-4 with three RBIs and three runs scored. Hayden Moore had two hits, three RBIs and scored twice, while Cole Smith also registered a pair of hits.

St. Thomas jumped on top 7-3 before the Bills went to work, scoring five times in the sixth and seven times in the seventh to break the game open.
