THE BASICS
Saint Louis launched three home runs and outslugged Western Kentucky 10-7 Sunday afternoon in the finale of the WKU Hilltopper Classic.

The Billikens finished 3-2 in the tournament and are now 6-4 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
•SLU took advantage of a two-out error to score four unearned runs in the top of the first inning. The first run scored on the error, and Kelsey Etling followed with a three-run home run, her second homer of the season.
•Western Kentucky scored twice in its half of the first.
•The Billikens answered in the second with Cami Newbanks' three-run blast, her second home run of the year.
•The Hilltoppers made it 7-5 with a pair of tallies in the third and one in the fourth.
•Abby Mallo increased the lead to 8-5 with a sixth-inning RBI single.
•Western Kentucky plated two runs in its half of the sixth to make it a one-run game, but Saint Louis pitcher Taylor Hochman stranded the tying and go-ahead runs to keep the Bills in front.
•Chloe Rhine clubbed her first homer of the season, a two-run shot, in the seventh to give the Billikens some breathing room.
•WKU had the tying run at the plate in the bottom of the frame, but Hochman induced a ground ball to end the game.

BILLIKEN NOTABLES
•Hochman allowed two runs in four innings of relief and improved to 4-1 on the season.
•Abby Ulsas collected three singles.
•Newbanks added a single for a two-hit game.
