Saint Louis welcomes an old conference rival on Tuesday night when the No. 9 Charlotte 49ers visit Hermann Stadium. Game time is 7 p.m.
Saint Louis and Charlotte were conference mates in Conference USA and the Atlantic 10 Conference. The teams are meeting for the first time since the 2012 season.Â
The Billikens (3-2-3, 1-0-1 A-10) are riding a four-match unbeaten streak. They are coming off a 2-1 victory over Loyola Chicago on Saturday night.
The 49ers (6-0-2, 2-0-0 AAC) won 4-1 in their conference match against South Florida on Friday. Charlotte is one of 11 teams in the NCAA without a loss this year, and has trailed for just nine minutes of game action this season.
