DAYTON, Ohio – The Billikens put up a tough fight, but fell 87-76 on Wednesday night to Dayton.
Kennedy Calhoun had a quadruple nickel with 13 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and five steals.
Peyton Kennedy moved into sixth place on the SLU all-time scoring list with 15 points and added a career-high three blocks.
Brooklyn Gray led the Billikens with 16 points.
Tierra Simon rounded out the Billikens in double figures with 12.
Saint Louis was able to hold the A-10's second leading scorer, Ivy Wolf, to just five points. The Billikens also won the rebounding battle, 39-30.
SLU is back in action when it travels to Davidson on Sunday, January 26. Tip-off is set for 10:00 am central time.
