Series History Saint Louis leads 9-3-1

Saint Louis travels to Washington, D.C., to take on the George Washington Revolutionaries Wednesday afternoon. Game time at the GW Soccer Field is 2 p.m. (CT).

The Billikens enter Wednesday's game 5-2-4 overall and 2-0-1 in A-10 play. George Washington is 2-7-2 overall and 0-3-0 in the league.

SLU is ranked No. 18 in the College Soccer News poll. The Bills are just outside the Top 25 in the United Soccer Coaches poll as the first team receiving votes.

1 // Jeremi Abonnel was named the A-10 Defensive Player of the Week on Monday (read more). It is the third straight week SLU has earned a weekly award – previously Theo Franca and Nick Schramm earned Rookie of the Week honors in back-to-back weeks. Earlier this season, Andrew Heckenlaible was named the A-10 Offensive Player of the Week.

2 // Abonnel is tied for sixth in the NCAA with six shutouts. He also ranks in the top 30 in the country in GAA (0.64) and save percentage (0.811).

3 // The Billikens are led in scoring by a pair of freshmen. Theo Franca (3G) and Nick Schramm (2G) have accounted for five of the Billikens' eight goals on the year.

4 // Wednesday's game is the midway point of the conference season for Saint Louis. The Bills are currently in a tie for second in the A-10 standings. The top eight teams make the A-10 Men's Soccer Championship at season's end. 

5 // Saint Louis holds a 9-3-1 record against GW and has won five in a row. The Revs' last win in the series came in 2016. SLU is 4-2 all-time in games played in Washington, D.C.
