ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis (13-13, 5-10 A-10) fell in three sets to George Washington (16-11, 9-6 A-10) Friday night in Atlantic 10 Conference volleyball action at Chaifetz Pavilion.
SET 1
The teams traded leads in a back-and-forth first set. It was tied at 15-all before the Revolutionaries grabbed a lead they would not relinquish, ultimately winning 25-19.
SET 2
The Billikens and Revolutionaries were tied at 8-8 early on in the second set before GW pulled away, winning six of the last seven points to capture the second set by a 25-16 margin.
SET 3
GW clinched the match with a 25-18 win in set three. The Revolutionaries reeled off eight straight points to build a lead the SLU was unable to overcome.
