THE BASICS
Saint Louis collected five extra-base hits, including a home run by Chloe Rhine and Natalie Sullivan's two triples, in an 8-5 come-from-behind victory over Western Illinois Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
•Western Illinois took a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning.
•Saint Louis pulled even in the top of the third. Sullivan led off with a triple and scored on Abby Ulsas' sacrifice fly. Jane Kaniecki singled and Scout Gallagher was hit by a pitch ahead of Rhine's three-run blast, her first home run of the season.
•The Billikens took the lead in the fifth. Kaniecki led off with a single, and pinch runner Addie Duttlinger scored on Gallagher's sacrifice fly.
•SLU scored three more times in the sixth. Kendall Johnson led off with a walk, and pinch runner Kate Proffitt advanced to third on Allie Marietta's sacrifice and Karsen Jany's double. Sullivan's second triple plated two runs, and Kaniecki's RBI single made it 8-4.
•Taylor Hochman worked out of a bases-loaded jam in the bottom of the sixth.
•Western Illinois scored a run in the seventh, but Isabel Royle retired the potential tying run to seal the win.

BILLIKEN NOTABLES
•Hochman came on to start the second inning and pitched five innings of scoreless, hitless relief, striking out five and capturing her fifth victory.
•Rhine added a single for a two-hit game, Marietta doubled, and Johnson singled.
