ST. LOUIS - The Billikens lost to Bradley, 9-8, in a windy midweek game Wednesday afternoon.

Saint Louis took an early lead with a sacrifice fly from
Brenden Stressler that scored
Hayden Moore in the first inning. The Billikens extended their lead in the second with a two-run homer from
Ian Blazier and an RBI single from
Ethan Sitzman to go up, 4-0.

Bradley responded with its first run in the fifth inning and plated six runs in the sixth to take a 7-4 lead.

The Billikens tied the game with three runs in the sixth to make it 7-7.

Saint Louis regained the lead, 8-7, in the eighth when
Hank Gomric scored on a throwing error by the catcher.

Bradley scored two runs in the top of the ninth to take the game, 9-8.

The Billikens will return to action with an A-10 road series at Dayton. Game one is set for Friday, March 21, at 2 p.m. Central.
