LOS ANGELES - Saint Louis University fell 15-4 in the final game of its series against Loyola Marymount.
The Billikens took an early lead when LMU's pitcher balked with the bases loaded, allowing a run to score.
However, the Lions responded with 10 unanswered runs, scoring in the first through fourth innings.
SLU managed to answer in the fifth with a three-run homer by Ian Blazier, cutting the deficit to 10-4.
Loyola Marymount extended its lead with one run in the seventh and four in the eighth, putting the game out of reach.
The Billikens return to action Tuesday, traveling to Springfield to face Missouri State. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m.
