Billikens Fall to Spiders in Series Finale

RICHMOND, Va. – Richmond slugged a pair of homers en route to a 6-0 win over Saint Louis Sunday in Atlantic 10 Conference baseball action at Richmond's Pitt Field.

Richmond was able to salvage one win in the series after the Bills won the first two games on Friday and Saturday. The loss snapped SLU's (25-18, 13-8 A-10) seven-game A-10 winning streak, which has vaulted the Bills to near the top of the A-10 standings with three league series' to go.

Richmond (27-15, 8-13 A-10) got on the board in the third inning when Jack Arcamone sent a three-run shot over the fence. The Spiders tacked on three more in the eighth on a Brady O'Brien two-run homer and a Trevor Dosenbach double.

SLU managed just two hits on the day, singles off the bats of Ethan Sitzman and Hayden Moore.

The Billikens are back in action on Tuesday, April 29, when they welcome the SIUE Cougars to the Billiken Sports Center for a 6 p.m. first pitch. The game will be streamed on ESPN+. SLU remains home for an A-10 series against UMass next weekend.
