Izzy Luebbert scored first-half goals to lift Saint Louis to a 2-0 victory over Davidson in the Atlantic 10 Conference opener for both teams Sunday afternoon at Robert R. Hermann Stadium.
•The Billikens extended their unbeaten streak to four games (3-0-1) and improved to 6-2-1 overall. Davidson slipped to 4-3-1.
•Simon scored her second goal of the season, and third game-winning goal as a Billiken, in the 13th minute.
Hope Kim gathered a deflected ball and made a short pass to Simon, who beat a Davidson defender before sending a left-footed shot past the Wildcats' goalkeeper.
•Luebbert doubled the lead in the 32nd minute with her second goal of 2025. On a restart, she sent a 35-yard shot through traffic, off a Davidson player and into the net.
