WASHINGTON, D.C. – Alyssa Koerkenmeier was named the Atlantic 10 Co-Rookie of the Week for the second time this season, the league announced Monday.
 
Koerkenmeier posted back-to-back double-doubles, averaging 12.5 points, 11.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game on the week.
 
She recorded a career-high 13 rebounds to go with 11 points against VCU on Wednesday, then followed with 14 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks at Loyola Chicago on Sunday.
 
The freshman center led the Billikens in scoring in both contests. She is the only freshman in the Atlantic 10 with a double-double this season and ranks third in the league with five.
