Box Score PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Saint Louis women's basketball (9-10, 3-3 A10)got back in the win column with a 66-57 fourth quarter comeback victory at La Salle (10-7, 3-3 A10) on Wednesday morning at John A. Glaser Arena.
La Salle went on a 5-0 run to start the game. The Billikens were slow to get going, making just one shot in the opening five minutes. SLU ended the quarter down 15-13.
The Billikens took the lead on a 12-0 run that put them up 25-17. And carried that momentum into a 37-31 lead at halftime.
The Explorers came to life in the third, outscoring Saint Louis 19-9 to take a 50-46 lead.
The Billikens trailed for most of the fourth quarter until a 13-0 run put them back in front at 61-54. La Salle was held to just seven points and 11 percent shooting in the fourth quarter.
