BILLIKENS LOOK TO STAY UNBEATEN ON THE ROAD
• Undefeated on the road this season, the Saint Louis Billikens (6-2-3, 2-0-1 A10) face a team that has suffered just one home loss, the Davidson Wildcats (5-4-2, 1-1-1 A10), on Saturday, Oct. 3. Kickoff at Alumni Soccer Stadium in Davidson, N.C., is slated for 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT.

• The Billikens own two wins and three draws away from home, while Davidson is 2-1-2 at Alumni Soccer Stadium.
• SLU remained undefeated in conference play Sept. 27, blanking George Mason 3-0 in St. Louis. Davidson notched its first A10 victory the same day, 2-1 at Fordham. The Wildcats fell to La Salle and tied Saint Joseph's in their first two A10 outings.
• Saint Louis was predicted to finish second in this year's A10 race, while Davidson landed in 10th place in the league's preseason poll. The Wildcats are seeking a return to the A10 Championship after missing last year's tournament.
SERIES HISTORY
• The Saint Louis-Davidson series dates to 2002. SLU has won all seven meetings – the last six of which have been A10 contests – and is 2-0 in Davidson.
• The Billikens have scored two goals in each game of the series and have outscored the Wildcats 14-2.
• Last year in St. Louis, the Bills scored twice in the first half en route to a 2-0 victory.
SAINT LOUIS IN THE NATIONAL PICTURE
• Through games of Sept. 30, SLU checked in at No. 59 in the NCAA Ratings Percentage Index (RPI), tops among A10 teams.
• Three of the Billikens' non-conference opponents are among the top 70 in the RPI – Alabama (No. 4), Kansas (No. 29) and Illinois (No. 68).
• The Bills are ranked No. 3 in the East Region by United Soccer Coaches.
KIM COLLECTS A10, TOP DRAWER SOCCER HONORS
•
Hope Kim was selected the A10's Offensive Player of the Week and earned an honorable-mention nod on Top Drawer Soccer's Team of the Week for Sept. 21-27.
• Kim registered the first multi-goal game of her Saint Louis career with a hat trick in a 3-0 home victory over George Mason Sept. 27. She scored all three goals in the second half while playing only 17 minutes.
• The hat trick is the 12th in SLU women's soccer history. Kim became just the third Billiken to score three goals in one half, joining Holly Bina (first half vs. Western Illinois on Oct. 12, 1997) and Maddie Pokorny (second half vs. VCU, A10 Championship final, on Nov. 4, 2018), and the sixth Billiken to register a natural hat trick.
TRADITION OF BALANCED SCORING CONTINUING
• Through 11 games of the 2026 season, the Billikens are again featuring their traditional balanced attack. Twenty of SLU's 25 goals have been assisted, and all 20 have featured a different player combination.
• Ten players have combined for the Bills' 25 goals, 14 have at least one assist and 16 have at least one point.
Audrey Smith leads with seven goals and 16 points (both career highs), while
Ashley Miller has a team- and career-high five assists.
Hope Kim joins Smith with a double-digit point total (10) on three goals and a career-high-tying four assists.
BILLIKENS IN THE ATLANTIC 10, NCAA STATISTICAL RANKINGS
• Saint Louis leads the Atlantic 10 Conference in goal differential (plus-19 – 15th nationally), goals against average (0.55 – 19th nationally), assists (27 – 20th nationally), points (77 – 30th nationally) and goals (25 – 33rd nationally).
• The Billikens are second in the league in win-loss-tie percentage (.682) and shutout percentage (.545, six shutouts in 11 games – 38th nationally).
• SLU ranks third in the A10 in corner kicks per game (5.82) and total shots per game (14.64), and fourth in save percentage (.829 – 45th nationally) and shots on goal per game (6.91).

Audrey Smith leads the conference in points (16 – 48th nationally) and is tied for first in goals (seven – tied for 30th nationally) and game-winning goals (two).

Pepper Escher is second in the league in save percentage (.880 – 12th nationally), goals against average (0.40 – 13th nationally) and shutouts (four – 47th nationally).

Ashley Miller ranks second in the A10 in assists (five – tied for 36th nationally), while
Hope Kim is tied for third (four).
SAINT LOUIS CELEBRATING 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF WOMEN'S SOCCER PROGRAM'S INCEPTION
• The 2026 season marks the 30th anniversary of the beginning of Billiken women's soccer.
• SLU's Saturday, Oct. 17, game vs. Richmond will include a 30th anniversary celebration, coupled with the return of Billiken women's soccer alumni.

• The Billikens played their first game on Aug. 31, 1996, defeating Central Missouri 9-0.
BILLIKENS LAND IN SECOND PLACE IN A-10 PRESEASON POLL
• Saint Louis was picked to finish second in the 2026 Atlantic 10 Conference women's soccer race in preseason balloting by A-10 head coaches. The Billikens received three of 14 first-place votes and totaled 182 of a possible 196 points.

LAST TIME OUT

Hope Kim scored three second-half goals to lead Saint Louis to a 3-0 victory over George Mason Sept. 27 at Hermann Stadium.
• Kim's hat trick was the 12th in SLU women's soccer history and her first multi-goal game as a Billiken. She earned A10 Offensive Player of the Week honors and an honorable-mention nod on Top Drawer Soccer's Team of the Week.

Pepper Escher made three saves to register her fourth shutout of the season and the team's sixth clean sheet.
• Kim's first goal, which turned out to be the sixth game-winner of her career, came in the 55th minute and was assisted by
Caroline Fowlkes.
• SLU made it 2-0 in the 61st minute, with
Ashley Miller assisting. Kim completed the hat trick in the 82nd minute with an assist from
Audrey Smith.
HEAD COACH KATIE SHIELDS
• Now in her 14th season as Saint Louis' head coach,
Katie Shields owns a 188-67-27 (.715) overall record (all at Saint Louis). Shields' .716 winning percentage at the beginning of the season ranked sixth among all active NCAA Division I women's soccer coaches, and second among active Division I female coaches, who have coached a minimum of five seasons at the Division I level.
SCOUTING DAVIDSON
• Davidson tied for ninth place in the A10 a year ago with a 3-5-2 league record, part of a 7-7-3 overall mark.
• Senior forward Kiera Pohan and sophomore forward Madelyn Hayes have a team-high seven points apiece (3G, 1A). Freshman forward Adriana Dunat also has three goals.
• Junior midfielder Sophia Whiddon leads the Wildcats with three assists.
• Sophomore goalkeeper Grace Stair owns three shutouts and carries a 1.55 goals against average and a .734 save percentage.
