Ashley Miller registered her first goal of the season in the 54th minute to give Saint Louis a 1-0 victory over Davidson Saturday night at Alumni Soccer Stadium.
•SLU stretched its unbeaten streak to four games and improved to 7-2-3 overall and 3-0-1 in the Atlantic 10 Conference, alone in first place pending the outcome of Duquesne's game vs. George Washington on Sunday. Davidson fell to 5-5-2, 1-2-1.
•Miller's goal was assisted by
Lauren Zangara. Taking a throw-in at the left edge of the 18, she dribbled into the upper left corner of the box and fired a shot that slipped past Davidson goalkeeper Grace Stair.

Pepper Escher collected four saves to record her fifth shutout of the season – third consecutive – and the team's seventh clean sheet.
