THE BASICS
•Saint Louis received good pitching in both games, but the Billikens fell twice Friday at Central Arkansas' Michelle Short & Adam Brown Tournament, 5-2 to Southeastern Louisiana and 3-0 to Central Arkansas.
 
GAME 1 – HOW IT HAPPENED
•Southeastern Louisiana took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning and made it 2-0 in the fourth.
•Saint Louis got on the board in its half of the fourth on Kate Proffitt's sacrifice fly.
•SELA scored twice in the fifth for a 4-1 advantage.
•Abby Ulsas made it 4-2 with an RBI infield single in the Billiken fifth.
•Southeastern plated an insurance run in the seventh.
 
GAME 1 – BILLIKEN NOTABLES
•Abby Mallo doubled, and Anna Christ and Sophia Boente had a single apiece.
•Christ went the distance in the circle. She allowed only three earned runs, scattered seven hits and did not walk a batter.
 
GAME 2 – HOW IT HAPPENED
•Central Arkansas scored all three of its runs in the second inning.
 
GAME 2 – BILLIKEN NOTABLES
•Riley Nelson allowed just four hits and one walk while striking out two in six innings.
•Proffitt collected two singles.
•Ulsas doubled and Sophia Boente singled.

•The Billikens continue play in the Michelle Short & Adam Brown Tournament Saturday, taking on Southeastern Louisiana at 12:30 p.m. and Central Arkansas at 5:30 p.m.
