THE BASICS
•Saint Louis dropped a pair of close contests Saturday at Central Arkansas' Michelle Short & Adam Brown Tournament, falling 4-2 to Southeastern Louisiana and 3-2 to Central Arkansas.
 
GAME 1 – HOW IT HAPPENED
•Southeastern Louisiana struck for three runs in the bottom of the second inning.
•Karsen Jany's two-out RBI single in the third put SLU on the board.
•Anna Christ led off the fourth with her third home run of the season to make it 3-2.
•Southeastern added an insurance tally in the sixth.
 
GAME 1 – BILLIKEN NOTABLES
•Ava Wombles doubled, while Abby Ulsas, Kate Proffitt and Isabel Royle had a single apiece.
•Royle struck out five and walked only two in six innings of work.
 
GAME 2 – HOW IT HAPPENED
•Central Arkansas took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the third.
•The Billikens scored their runs in the fifth on an error by the UCA center fielder.
•Central Arkansas plated the tying and go-ahead runs in the fifth and sixth innings, respectively.

•Wombles doubled and Sophia Boente singled.
