•Saint Louis enjoyed its two most productive offensive innings of the weekend, but the Billikens suffered a tough 12-11 loss to Evansville Sunday on the final day of Central Arkansas' Michelle Short & Adam Brown Tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED
•Evansville owned a 4-0 lead after scoring once in the first inning and three times in the second.
•Saint Louis pulled even in the top of the third.
Kate Proffitt's two-run double and
Bella Stephens' two-run single accounted for the runs.
•The Purple Aces tallied twice in both the third and fourth frames to go on top 8-4.
•The Billikens erupted for seven runs in the fifth. Stephens collected her third RBI on a single,
Abby Ulsas produced an RBI single, and
Karsen Jany's two-run single evened the score.
Abby Mallo doubled in two runs and later scored on a wild pitch for an 11-8 Saint Louis lead.
•Evansville forced extra innings with a run in the sixth and two in the seventh before scoring the game-winner in the eighth.
