THE BASICS
•Saint Louis erupted for seven runs in the seventh inning and defeated Bradley 7-4 Friday in the opening game of Eastern Kentucky's Colonel Classic.
•Eastern Kentucky claimed a 2-0 win in the Billikens' second game of the day.

GAME 1 – HOW IT HAPPENED
•Bradley scored single runs in the bottom of the first and third innings.
•In the seventh, SLU loaded the bases with one out on an
Addie Duttlinger single, a walk to
Karsen Jany and a single by
Abby Ulsas.
Abby Mallo's sacrifice fly put the Billikens on the board, and
Anna Christ delivered a two-run single that gave Saint Louis the lead.
Kate Proffitt continued the rally with a single, and
Sophia Boente's RBI single made it 4-2. Pinch hitter
Scout Gallagher punctuated the offensive outburst with a three-run home run.
•Bradley tallied twice in its half of the inning, but the potential tying run was left in the on-deck circle.

Anna Rolla had two hits apiece.
•The Billikens turned three double plays.
•Christ worked the first five innings in the circle and allowed just five hits and one walk.
