THE BASICS
•Saint Louis was defeated twice on the final day of Eastern Kentucky's Colonel Classic, falling 2-1 to Pittsburgh and 8-3 to SIUE.
 
GAME 1 – HOW IT HAPPENED
•Saint Louis took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning on Anna Christ's RBI single.
•Pittsburgh posted single runs in the fifth and sixth innings.
 
GAME 1 – BILLIKEN NOTABLES
•Riley Nelson pitched well, striking out five and allowing only five hits and two walks in seven innings.
•Kate Proffitt had a single.
 
GAME 2 – HOW IT HAPPENED
•SIUE went in front 1-0 in the top of the first inning.
•SLU pulled even in the fourth with a run scoring on a double play.
•The Billikens took a 3-1 lead in the fifth on a two-run double by Abby Ulsas.
•SIUE scored a run in the sixth and plated six more in the seventh.
 
GAME 2 – BILLIKEN NOTABLES
•Ava Wombles (double) and Christ (single) had hits for the Billikens.
