HOW IT HAPPENED
•Saint Joseph's scored two runs in the first inning and five in the second to take a 7-1 lead.
•Saint Louis scored its only run in the bottom of the first. Abby Ulsas drew a one-out walk and advanced to second on Mallo's single. The runners advanced on a double steal, and Ulsas scored on a wild pitch.
•The Hawks added six tallies in the seventh.
