ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis women's basketball head coach
Rebecca Tillett has announced the signing of Gabby Spink for the 2026-27 season.
Spink joins the Billikens from Murray State, the reigning Missouri Valley Conference champions.
"Gabby adds additional championship experience to our roster," Tillett said, "She is a fiery competitor. If an opposing team makes a good play, she will immediately answer back on both sides of the ball. She has an intrinsic drive and the work ethic to match. She wants to compete with and against the best. Gabby is a physical guard who can score in bunches. She also values assists and has delivered in championship games. She is a high-energy teammate and will add to the competitive nature of our practices."
Originally from Haubstadt, Indiana, Spink played high school basketball at Gibson Southern. She averaged 17.2 points, five assists, 4.7 rebounds and two steals per game during her career. She scored 1,724 points and set the school records for career assists, single-season assists and single-season scoring.
Spink was a four-time all-state selection and a two-time Southwestern Indiana Player of the Year. She is now one of four players on the 2026-27 team that won a basketball state championship in high school, joining
Alyssa Koerkenmeier, D'Myjah Bolds and Peyton Olufson.
When it came to choosing Saint Louis, Spink said, "I love the atmosphere and what this program stands for, and believe this program will not only help me grow as a student athlete, but also as a person"
