RICHMOND, Va. – The Billikens fell 10-7 in the series finale at VCU on Sunday morning.
Saint Louis got off to an immediate start, with two runs in the top of the first.
Hank Gomric had a two RBI triple to open the scoring.
The Billikens added on in the second, taking a 6-0 lead.
Drew Kleinheider drove in two runs with a double, then Gomric later drove in Kleinheider.
VCU got on the board with two runs in the third, fourth and fifth to tie to game at 6-6.
Krew Bond singled to bring
Austin Neuweg home in the sixth and take bake the lead at 7-6.
The Rams responded in the bottom of the sixth with four runs to bring the game to its final score of 10-7.
