WASHINGTON – Saint Louis volleyball's Jetta Brenning was named the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.

Brenning helped the Billikens to a 2-0 weekend at the Saluki Bash, recording 33 digs and three blocks across eight sets. She averaged 4.13 digs per set, the highest mark among Division I setters last week.

Brenning posted 17 digs and a block in a 3-0 victory over Merrimack on Friday before recording 16 digs and two blocks in Saturday's five-set win at Southern Illinois. She also added 65 assists, three service aces and seven kills on the weekend.

She becomes the first SLU setter to win Defensive Player of the Week and first Billiken to win the award since 2024.
