ST. LOUIS - Saint Louis University out-shot Louisville 24-1 in a 10-0 victory over the Cardinals in Conference USA women's soccer action tonight at Robert R. Hermann Stadium. Billiken freshman Anne Lucier (Dallas, Texas/Ursuline) scored three goals on three shots and added an assist in the dominating win. No Billiken has had a hat trick since Kelly Massman netted four goals against Tennessee Tech in 1996, the program's first season of play.

The goals came early and often for the Billiken offense, which has found its rhythm in recent games. Sophomore Shannon Myers (Cincinnati, Ohio/Lakota West) scored in the fourth minute when she corralled a deflection on (Chicago, Ill./Barrington) initial shot. Just a minute and a half later, Jenny Kehl (Fort Collins, Colo./Fort Collins) put on in the back of the net from 12 yards out on a centering pass from Katie Zaegel (St. Louis, Mo./Nerinx Hall).

Lucier flicked a five-yard header in the 35th minute to make the lead 3-0 as Kehl picked up the assist. Musschoot added an unassisted goal when the Cardinals left her unmarked on the near side and she tucked it under the cross bar from 25 yards out. Senior Kathleen Schager (Chicago, Ill./Palatine) was not to be outdone by the younger talent as she scored in the 52 minute. Mandy Trokey (St. Louis, Mo./Notre Dame), Beth Moberg(Leawood, Kan./St. Thomas Aquinas) and Lindsay Potrafke (Cincinnati, Ohio/Milford) also netted goals for the Bills.

The Billikens are back in action in a key C-USA match with Cincinnati on Sun., Oct. 1, at 1 p.m. at Hermann Stadium.
