Saint Louis University men's tennis fell to Marquette 4-1 this afternoon at the Conference USA Tournament in New Orleans, La. Freshman Lance Vodicka scored a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Peter Mojzis at No. 1 singles to record the Billikens' only point of the match.
At No. 2 singles, freshman Thomas Kwong lost the first set 7-5 to Bart Cordemeijer, but was up 4-1 in the second when the match was called. Similarly, Sanjeev Paramanathan had Brian Verban on the ropes at No. 5 singles at 6-1, 2-3, but the match was decided before play was completed.
The Billikens end their 2000-01 campaign with an 8-12 overall record.
