Oxford, Ohio - In the neutral site match with Davidson (1-4), Saint Louis (0-7) kept the game balanced with the exception of the unassisted goal by Davidson's Christina Auer at 49:23.

The two teams took 16 shots each, earned nine saves each with SLU earning six penalty corners to Davidson's five. Both teams each received a green warning card in the first half.

SLU will face crosstown rival Lindenwood University on Wed., Sept. 24, at 8 p.m., in St. Charles before hosting Indiana University in its 12:30 p.m. home opener on Sun., Sept. 28, at the Anheuser-Busch Center in Fenton, Mo.
