B. U. (2-0) opened the scoring when seniors Celeste Hubbard and Dalinda Banuelos combined on a cross to make the score 1-0 just 6:32 into the game. It was Banuelos' first goal of the season.
Less than three minutes later, senior Lindsey Domers doubled the Terriers' advantage with an unassisted goal. Midway through the first half, freshman Caroline Kwik gave B. U. a 3-0 lead with an unassisted score at 15:50.
B. U. dominated the statistics, as they finished the game with 18 shots compared to the Billikens' two. The Terriers held a 14-3 advantage in penalty corners as well.
Saint Louis (0-5) wasn't out of the game, however, as freshman Kristin Lueders scored with 8:20 remaining in the first half to cut the B. U. lead to 3-1.
Billiken senior Alisa Hebert added another goal with 13:22 left in the game to make it 3-2, but they could not add another. The two goals were the only two balls Saint Louis put on Terrier freshman goalkeeper Erin Prediger, who got the win, her second in only her second career start.
