St. Louis - The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) has tabbed Saint Louis Billikens Will John (Kansas City, Mo. / Rockhurst) and Tim Ward (Waukesha, Wis. / Edison Academic Center, Bradenton, Fla.) to the All-Midwest Region second team. DiRaimondo and John were selected for the second consecutive year.

A sophomore midfielder, DiRaimondo was named first-team All-Conference USA after tying with Alex Matteson as the Billikens' third-leading scorer with 11 points (4G, 3A). He was also named first-team CoSIDA Academic All-District VII.

A sophomore forward, John was chosen first-team All-Conference USA after leading the Billikens in scoring with 24 points (10G, 4A) and tying junior Ryan Wileman for the team lead with four game-winning goals. John was also one of 16 semifinalists for the Hermann Trophy, the annual award presented to the top player in NCAA Division I soccer. He spent time with the U.S. Under-20 National Team in November and scored a goal against Mexico.

A freshman defender, Ward was named to the C-USA All-Freshman team and was selected second-team All-Conference. He was the Bills' leading scorer among defenders with four points (0G, 4A) and tied with John for second on the team in assists.

The Billikens were 9-8-1 overall in 2004 and 5-3-1 in their final season in C-USA. Saint Louis joins the Atlantic 10 Conference in 2005.
