Kissimmee, Fla. - Logan Justice and Kara Sell combined to deliver a five-run first inning as Saint Louis knocked off Army 5-4 on Tuesday at the Rebel Spring Games. Ashley Levan earned the win in the circle for the Billikens, while Lorena Floccari picked up her school-record tying fourth career save. Earlier in the day, SLU dropped its seventh one-run game of the season in a 1-0 loss to Wagner.

SLU (4-11) scored all the runs it would need in the bottom of the first. Ashlee Heady and Christy Ernst both singled, and AshLeigh Williams loaded the bases after reaching on an error. Justice then drove them all home after notching her first triple of the year to give SLU a 3-0 early lead.

But SLU wasn't done scoring in the first. Kara Sell drove home Justice after blasting her team-leading third home run of the season to stretch the Billikens' lead to 5-0.

Army (3-11) plated a run in the fourth and three runs in the fifth, but couldn't gain the lead thanks in large part to reliever Lorena Floccari.

Floccari shutout the Black Knights for 2-2/3 innings to earn her second save of the season. Adding her two saves from last year, she ties Nichole Bohnenstiehl for first all-time in the career saves department at SLU.

SLU managed only three hits in the affair against Wagner, including two from shortstop Logan Justice.

The Billikens' best chance to score came in their half of the fifth. Justice led off the inning with a single and advanced to second on a Floccari sacrifice bunt. She then stole third base, but was left stranded after a SLU strikeout.

Wagner (4-8) won the game when Ami Iwicki, who was placed on second per international rules, scored on Stevens' double with one out in the ninth.

Floccari, who has been on the losing end of all seven of SLU's one-run losses, allowed just four hits in 8-1/3 innings. She struck out four and walked none.

The Billikens return to action on Thurs., Mar. 16, in a 3:10 p.m. (CT) tilt against Fairfield. Later in the afternoon, the Bills face Cleveland State in a 5 p.m. matchup.
