ST. LOUIS - The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) announced that two Saint Louis men's soccer players have landed on the 2006 NSCAA/adidas College Men's Scholar All-America teams. Senior midfielder Dan Guffey (St. Peters, Mo./Howell North) earned a spot on the second team. The two became eligible for All-America status after being named to the Scholar All-North/Central Region first-team.

An accounting major, DiRaimondo was named the 2006 Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Student-Athlete of the Year along with his second straight appearance on the conference's All-Academic Team. In addition, he was named an ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American for the second straight season. A two-time Hermann Trophy semifinalist, DiRaimondo earned third-team NSCAA All-America honors after leading the Billikens in scoring with 15 points (5G, 5A). He finishes his Billiken career ranked 18th on SLU's career scoring chart with 72 points (22G, 28A).

Senior midfielders Courtney Hulcer and Maureen Hughes earned spots on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Scholar All-America team. Hulcer's appearance on the second-team is her second in as many years, while Hughes' spot on the third team is the first of her career. Hulcer and Hughes were eligible for the All-America honor after earning spots on the Scholar All-Region first team. Senior back Tara Gresco was also on the All-Region first team, and junior Mary Green was a second-team All-Region selection.

Hulcer, who earned her second Atlantic 10 Conference Defensive Player of the Year award, is a three-time NSCAA All-Region selection and finished her career ranked among the program's top offensive and defensive players. She holds the school record with 37 career assists, including a school-record 21 of which came on game winning goals. Hulcer is seventh in school history with 57 career points (10G, 37A) and became just the program's second All-American in 2004. Defensively, she has been a conference Defensive Player of the Year three times in her career and has quarterbacked a Billikens' defense that routinely ranks among the best in the conference. Hulcer was a second-team All-American in 2004.
