FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Hailee Elmore captured two victories at No. 1 singles this weekend as the Saint Louis women's tennis team (0-2) dropped 6-1 decisions to 19th-ranked Arkansas and Oklahoma State at Arkansas' Dills Indoor Tennis Center.

Elmore defeated Arkansas' Emily Carbone 6-4, 4-6 (10-4) Saturday evening, then disposed of Oklahoma State's Nataliya Shatkovskaya 6-2, 6-4 Sunday afternoon. Casey Miller gave her opponents difficulty at No. 2 singles in both matches, falling 6-7 (4-7), 6-1 (10-7) to Stephanie Roy of Arkansas and 3-6, 6-1, 7-6 (7-4) to OSU's Sara Meghoufel.

Mia Elmore and Kasia Tomalak pushed their Oklahoma State opponents at Nos. 4 and 5 singles, respectively. Elmore was defeated by Iryna Khatsko 7-5, 6-3, while Tomalak lost a 7-5, 6-2 decision to Malika Rose.

Saint Louis returns to action Friday, Jan. 29, with two matches at St. Clair Tennis Club in O'Fallon, Ill. The Billikens host Southeast Missouri State at 3:30 p.m. and McKendree at 7 p.m.
