O'FALLON, Ill. - The Saint Louis women's tennis team breezed to its first victory of the season Friday, blanking McKendree 7-0 at St. Clair Tennis Club.

The Billikens (1-2) established themselves quickly by sweeping the doubles matches. Hailee Elmore and Casey Miller and Sarah Septien and Caitlin McKenna downed Liz Otto and Alison Holloway 8-0 at No. 3.

SLU was just as dominant in singles. The Bills posted 6-0, 6-0 victories at No. 1 (Hailee Elmore vs. Adriana Gonzalez), No. 2 (Miller vs. Guiliana Gonzalez), No. 3 (Septien vs. Bayma), No. 4 (Mia Elmore vs. Cimarolli) and No. 6 (McKenna vs. Holloway). Tomalak delivered a 7-5, 6-0 triumph over Otto at No. 5.

The Billikens host Southeast Missouri State Saturday. First serve at St. Clair Tennis Club is 5 p.m.
