Results

CINCINNATI - Xavier overcame losing the doubles point and captured a pair of three-set singles victories en route to a 4-3 Atlantic 10 Conference win over Saint Louis Friday night.

The Billikens (10-6) won two of the three doubles contests to establish a 1-0 lead. Casey Miller and Hailee Elmore and Sarah Septien and Mia Elmore 8-2 at No. 3.

In singles play, Xavier (10-7) collected three-set victories at No. 3, where Ducro toppled Septien 6-1, 0-6, 6-3, and No. 6, where Kinnard was a 6-3, 2-6, 7-5 winner over Tomalak. Katie Pleiman handed Hailee Elmore her first loss of the season at No. 1, prevailing 7-6, 6-2, and Kaitlyn Zinn beat Mia Elmore 6-4, 6-2 at No. 5. Miller handled Treece 6-3, 6-3 at No. 2, while Nalepa breezed past Alkire 6-2, 6-2 at No. 4.

Saint Louis resumes action Saturday at A-10 foe Dayton.
