Results

DAYTON, Ohio - Saint Louis women's tennis rebounded from a tough loss at Xavier by blanking Dayton 7-0 Saturday in an Atlantic 10 Conference match.

The Billikens (11-6) had an easy time in doubles play. Casey Miller and Hailee Elmore and Sarah Septien shut down Sarah Van Wallegham and Chelsea Glankler 8-2 at No. 3.

The only singles match SLU did not win in straight sets was the No. 6 contest, in which Hailee Elmore defeated Kirkland 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1; Miller was a 6-4, 6-3 winner over Dickerhoof at No. 2; Nalepa handled Grote 6-0, 6-4 at No. 3; Mia Elmore beat Van Wallegham 6-2, 6-1 at No. 4; and Tomalak got past Glankler 6-4, 6-4 at No. 5.

The Billikens conclude their road trip Sunday at Illinois State.
