Box Score BALTIMORE - Freshman Mary Wright (Naperville, Ill./Waubonsie
Valley) and junior Alli Reimer (St. Charles, Mo./Duchesne) scored a goal
apiece for Saint Louis, but Loyola (Md.) tallied four times to register a 4-2
victory over the Billikens Sunday afternoon at Ridley Athletic Complex.
Wright collected
her first collegiate goal, unassisted, at 9:04 to give Saint Louis (1-4) an
early lead. She gathered a loose ball in the box and fired a shot into the
lower right side.
Loyola (1-5)
recorded the next three goals. Lauren Norcia and Nichole Schiro scored at 13:43
and 19:02, respectively, to give the Greyhounds the lead for good, while Kelsey
Rene found the back of the net at 50:29 to stretch the hosts' advantage to 3-1.
The Bills put
themselves back in it when Reimer notched her first goal of the season at 66:24.
Assisted by freshman Kathryn Brenner (Chesterfield, Mo./Visitation),
Reimer collected a rebound and banged the ball into the right side of the goal.
Unfortunately, SLU
would not register the equalizer. Meanwhile, Nicky Alagna's goal at 77:50
padded the Loyola lead and provided the final score.
